Here is a quick summary of what we went through to have our son.
You can also find more detailed information on my fertility timeline and Braverman protocol here.
We started trying to have a baby at the end of 2010. 5 IUIs, 2 miscarriages (of genetically normal embryos), 2 IVFs, 2 fresh embryo transfers, 2 frozen embryo transfers and four years later we had our beautiful baby boy.
Sebastian Alexander Stanton was born January 7th, 2015 and we have been in a total blissful state ever since. We are so grateful he is here and he is ours.
I’ve been wanting so badly to write about my fertility experience because I learned so much along the way. And, it is so nice to be able to share and connect with others going through the same struggles. But, it really has been difficult for me to sit down and type it out. I am now geared up to write about my upcoming cycle but the most important thing I want to share is that if you – like me - miscarry genetically normal embryos. You MUST MUST look into working with Dr. Braverman. Here is a link to his website. http://www.preventmiscarriage.com/
I wish someone had told me to go to Dr. Braverman sooner. And that YES!!! immune issues can cause you to have miscarriages and they can be treated. In my case, he treated my autoimmune inflammation, which helped me to stop miscarrying and finally have a healthy pregnancy. He is THE expert in this field.
After all of our struggles, first try with Dr. Braverman and we had our baby boy.
So happy to be able to post that I am a success story.
Now back to Dr. Braverman for baby number 2!!
