#OOTD - Fertiity Clinic Style
This post is all about how to be practical and look fabulous at your fertility appointments.
This is what I wore today for my blood work and ultrasound (It looks like I am about to ovulate so at least that part of my reproductive system is working well! We will confirm ovulation with a blood test on Friday.)
It's all about looking effortlessly comfortable and being able to remove your pants easily. I once wore a jumper to an appointment and boy was it a mistake. My doctor gives you a sheet to wrap yourself in. It works great if you just need to cover up from the waist down, but try making a dress out of that sheet. Unless, Fashion by Mayhem is coming with you, you are in trouble. So for pants, I opted for these fitted comfortable Hanna Anderson sweatpants. They are super comfortable and I can easily get in and out of them.
Slip off shoes are also super important because no shoes allowed in those stirrups. But, don't forget to wear socks to keep your feet warm on the cold floor and to protect your bare feet from those stirrups and the feet that have been there before.
The Stella & Dot shades, I bought from my friend Blaney's page. Sunglasses are great when you are going through fertility treatment to hide your eyes after you have been crying. And, to be incognito sitting in that waiting room.
The rest of the outfit was selected just for comfortable style and to dress up my sweatpants so I could meet a friend for tea after at The Whitby Hotel.
